As a current foster carer you might be considering a move from your agency or Local Authority, and at FCA Scotland we understand that it isn’t a decision to be taken lightly. We’ll support you every step of the way and do all we can to make the process of joining us as simple as possible.
Because you do so much for the young people you care for, we believe that your fostering provider should do the same for you.
FCA Scotland was established over fifteen years ago by a foster carer and a social worker – both of whom still run the agency today. Offering a personal approach that will make a big difference to your experience.
Here’s what you can expect when you transfer to FCA Scotland:
Transferring to a new fostering agency means going through the same process you went through when you first became a foster carer. However, since you’re already fostering, your application will be fast-tracked and the process will be much faster and simpler.
FCA Scotland works with you, your current agency and the Local Authority to make sure everyone is working together and that any children or young people placed with you are also supported.
