Becoming a foster carer with FCA Scotland has many positives. Here at our Aberdeen/Inverness office, we have a great team to help and support you to become a Foster Carer for children and young people across Aberdeenshire and in the North of Scotland.
Covering a number of areas within the Highlands and in the North of Scotland, the team at FCA Scotland are dedicated to helping children and young people find a safe, stable home in which they can be happy in. We partner with a number of Local Authorities within the region who refer children and young people to us to find a happy home.
We cover a number of areas within the North of Scotland including:
We are currently recruiting for all types of placements in these areas, however we’re not currently recruiting in the Scottish Islands.
We hold support groups and training in both Aberdeen and Inverness to ensure we can catch up with all of our carers based in the North of Scotland.
With a number of events and activities held, potential foster carers are welcome to find out more about why they should foster, how it will benefit both them and the children they foster and how they can start their journey.
We run a variety of events for our children and young people throughout the year, from trips to the zoo, cinema or laser tag, all chosen by the young people themselves. We also hold events for our carers and their families throughout the year, giving our carers, children and young people and staff the opportunity to meet.
You can find out more about our fundraising activities or recruitment events in your local area on our news and events page.
