Eight young people came together in Glasgow to participate in the second stage of the Scottish Care Review. 1000 Voices captures young people's views and opinions through fun activities which is then used to shape how care in Scotland will look in the future.
Introductions saw everyone sharing something no one knows about them or if we had a super power what would it be! It then lead into a quick snowball fight, I know what you’re thinking snowballs in May? Each young person was given paper to write answers based on three questions, each answer was scrunched up and made into snowballs. Split into two teams the team with the least snowballs on their side of the room won the challenge.
Our next exercise was making paper aeroplanes asking young people what made them feel safe, soon there were planes flying around the whole room. Finally, we all enjoyed some pizza, computer games and beauty activities before heading home. #keepingthepromise
